La Cascada - Traditional Mexican Food with Flavor in El Dorado Hills, CA

When you walk into this place, expect delicious traditional Mexican food to be served with flavor. Be expected to be great by workers who want to make sure you have a great dining experience. The chicken I had on my nachos were delicious and tasty. The shredded chicken tasted like a really good chicken soup with onions and ingredients that made it so soft and juicy. The ambiance is so calm and relaxing, I felt so relaxed and happy after I was done eating. Definitely will be back!

This restaurant rates 10 Stars in Service!! From the nice manager guy to ESPERANZA our waitress (and helpers) , they were extremely accommodating to my friend with her 97-year old parents!! We had excellent fresh guacamole salsa and chips and shared a seafood burrito (scallops, shrimp, white fish inside) and a steak enchilada with fresh pico de gallo (which was really good!) The food was good- not super flavorful but hot- but the service was WONDERFUL!! They have a bar and sports tv also so it's definitely a fun place to visit! Even the ladies room was really pretty- and clean! Gracias!

We have been here a couple of times for lunch, and it was really good. I got the enchilada and taco, my husband got taco and chili relleno , very good, shout out for their refried beans. Our New Mexican restaurant, and it is close to us.

Great place for family dinner. The Carne Asada is out of this world. The fajita is really good too.

I rank it 5 for location, easy parking, nice vibe and friendly staff. Drinks are good. I'm not in love with their chopped salad being served on a flat plate but that's maybe just me. I like their house salsa. Quick friendly service is never an issue. Not enough meatless options for me to come on my own but it's an easy place to meet up and for groups.

Always great food and service. We have been coming here for years and the food is consistently great. Festive atmosphere and decor. Also spacious floor plan if you ever need a private party venue this would be it! My favorite plate is the Carnitas, but I also love the Chili Verde and Molcajete! Can't go wrong to be honest. Also a full bar of your looking to just hang out and have a couple drinks and watch a game; If you like spicy I would try the "off menu" bean dip with a side of Habanero Sauce or for a more mild choice Queso Fundido Dip with a top shelf margarita!
